About Gujarat Board SSC
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, or GSEB, was established on May 1st, 1960. The primary academic duty of the Board is to create secondary school curricula and propose text materials for use in government schools. The board is also responsible for recognizing new schools, assessing schools’ performance, and inspecting different schools that are connected to the board. The board administers two (4-Semester type) main exams: the SSE examination for students in the 10th grade and the HSE examination for those in the XI and XII classes in the state.
